READY EDUCATION 2021-2023 VP of Student Success and Research (student success and product/UX)

Institutional thought leader responsible for guiding the development of our product portfolio of student success technology solutions.

Conducted research with Sandra Matz from Columbia University to examine centrality in our social network to predict student retention.

Conducted student success mega-study with the Behavior Change for Good Initiative at the Wharton School of Business (currently in year 2 of the project).

Created content for special projects (blog posts, case studies, white papers, guides, research reports, and corporate communications) and presented research at conferences and webinars.

Bridged the gap between product, marketing, and sales by improving processes for product release, guiding product/market fit and establishing best practices resulting in a 100% increase in lead generation for our sales development team.

Coordinated our global community of practice and advisory board focused on prioritization of feature development & usability

testing (interviews, focus groups, surveys, AB tests, etc.) .

Served on the Academic Affairs leadership team responsible for student success initiatives, student communications, and promoting equity and inclusion for underserved student populations.

Conducted student success research associated with one state and one federal grant.

Presented research at industry conferences.

Project coordinator for campus-wide gateway course redesign initiative to improve student learning across demographic groups; DFWI rates decreased by nearly 20% for some demographic groups.

Wrote and managed and marketed two grant programs supporting first-generation, economically vulnerable students.

Advised Uversity and OohLaLa Mobile product teams on app development and web applications to drive student success.

Conducted program assessment utilizing quantitative analysis and focus groups, interviews, and surveys.

Advised Digital Architecture (DIGARC) team to create a curriculum development system to automatically route proposals to reviewers greatly reducing time from initial proposal to final approval.

Worked with Megan Shuker (SPM at D2L) to develop enhancements to increase sense of community in Brightspace.

Led focus groups and interviews with faculty and other administrators to scope out product requirements and gather feedback on product iterations.
